This morning Ang managed to complete 'one of the scariest things' she thinks she has ever done! - jumping into a canyon while attatched to a piece of bungee! EVENTUALLY she decided to jump, well she thinks she did but a closer inspection of the dvd may be needed as she may have had a helping push from the safety guys! It cant have been that scary as she did it again! We stopped at Arthurs point, Arrowtown, Lake Wanaka and the Fox glacier on the way to Franz jose...

We drove to Queenstown and managed to get to go jet boating in the after noon which was great fun! Shooting down the river very close to the rocks at 95kph, doing 360 o turns! We loved it x We cooked some tea at the van and helped our camper van neighbours out, who had locked their keys inside, and then headed off to the ice bar! Every thing inside, including our glasses, was made of ice! The sculptures inside were all fab!

Day trip to Doubtful sound. A bus, a boat, a bus and another boat and we finally were in doubtful sound! On the way we stopped to take some pics of the views, at the underground power station and information centre. Once again we were surrounded by the amazingly beautiful scenery and it seemed a lot quieter and less 'touristy' compared to milford. We saw some seals, but no dolphins! We enjoyed another yummy tea at the working mens club in Te Anau and lots of game...

Day trip to Milford sound and the fiordland scenery is some of the most magical that we have seen to date! We had a great day on the boat, seeing the waterfalls up close, the seals on the rocks and visiting the undewater observatory.

We walked along the rocks where the petrified forrest is and we were lucky enough to find a very endangered yellow-eyed penguin in the bushes! We took some pics and when we turned around there was another one just coming out of the sea over the rocks. When we get to a strong enough internet I will try to put the vidoe on here but he was just fab! And we were so very lucky to get to watch him for so long.
