Hi all, thanks again for all the birthday felicitations! We shall start at the beginning, for that is always a good place to start...

...the bus ride here was as amazing as it professed to be - fully reclining, massive seats, good food, sweets, wine, champagne, our own flat screen tv and charlottes web to boot! - just wonderous! However, andrew did suffer a little cos he had a mini waterfall on his head cos there was a load of condensation on the hatch thing just above him - oops. Ah well, still it was very enjoyable.

We arrived in Puerto Iguazu and it was warm! woohoo! back to vest tops and t shirts! Checked into the hotel, which although very nice, we are sure is not 5 star - its a tad rough round the edges. However, the room is massive and warm, and there is plenty of hot water, so its not too rough!

On my birthday we went to Iguazu for the first time - it was spectacular - lots of really beautiful sights, but unfortunately it did feel abit like a theme park - rammed with tourists. We had a fun ride under the falls too, in a speed boat! which was very cool! Despite wrapping ourselves in waterproof coats and ponchos, we still got absolutely SOAKED! It is pretty much impossible to stay dry when under a waterfall! Thankfully we stayed warm and dried off pretty quickly thanks to the sunshine - we didn`t freeze, like we usually do in Alton Towers post log flume! Whilst walking around we were inundated with....

gonna have to finish this epic later - only get a time slot of 15mins on this bloody hotel computer! 5 star my arse! will finish it later! off to see the brazilian side of the falls today - they should be in a good mood over there cos they won the copa america last night! bye!
