hola!

So, we are in the a beautiful alpine village called El Bolson, which is completely eco-friendly, produces ice cream, chocolate and beer, and is surrounded by pine forests and snowy peaks packed with walking trails - heaven! It also has the friendliest packs of stray dogs ever! They attach themselves to your side and will not leave you - they have waited for us outside restaurants and supermarkets, but as soon as we come out, no matter how nonchalently, they pick up our scent and re-attach themselves again! We don`t really help the matter tho, as we feel sorry for them and feed them bread and play fetch with them.... they are just too cute! we are also missing our animals from back home (hello topsy).

So today we have been walking through the forest covered mountains around the town. Went on a very scenic walk to a waterfall, and had lots of fun along the way! Including Sophie nearly wetting herself at Andrew nearly falling over, (there was lots of slippy clay on steep slopes to traverse!) and Andrew taking a "short cut" down a near vertical cliff face and scaring the pants off Sophie who refused to follow him! It started to rain towards the end of the walk and we got throughly soaked, thankfully our hotel must be about 40 degrees so everything dried out pretty quickly!

Off to Bariloche tomorrow, getting the bus in the morning, would have loved to spend more time here, but skiing awaits!
