We are back in BA and relative heat! Soooo happy to be back here! However, Lonely Planet have delivered us to yet another corker of a hostel - it states book ahead to reserve a bed with satin sheets - err NO! The lobby looked great - modern and bright - then we were taken to the room...... it stank of pure wrongness, and is decorated, well, just imagine the interior of a battered motel room in America in the 70's - nice. LONELY PLANET ARE WRONG IN THE HEAD!

Despite our horrid room, we have had a successful day. It started at 4.30am in our room of joy in Montevideo, we walked a mile to the bus station, got the bus to Colonia at 5.40 am, and from there caught the 9.30 ferry to BA. We checked into our hotel, then toddled off to get bus tickets to Iguazu - we are getting the night bus tomorrow, first class may we add! (which means we get seats that are like big leather armchairs that recline horizontally! and possibly a glass of champagne!) We are SOOOO excited, not only about the prospect of heat and the amazing landscape, but also because, as a birthday treat for Sophie, we are staying at a 5 star hotel for 4 nights whilst we are there!!!! WOOHOO! No more cold rooms and bad smells!

So we are happy again, and moderately warmer! yey!
