We had a lie in this morning and had a really good night's sleep which was surprising considering the beds are pretty uncomfortable- you can feel all the springs in the mattress and the room was absolutely freezing this morning!! Got up and had the worst shower. After a late breakfast we signed up at the front desk to go on the tour around Fenway Park- home of the Boston Red Sox baseball team. We're not in baseball season at the moment so we won't be able to see a game so we thought this would be the next best thing, at least we'd get to see the place. I was really disappointed though because they have a lot of construction work going on at the moment in the stadium and the pitch was covered over :( It seems to be the thing with us on this trip that things are either closed for the season or there is construction work going on! Anyway we had a great tour guide and he made it worthwhile. We saw the Green Monster seats, Ted William's seat, the retired numbers, the Hall of Fame, the wooden seating etc and it was just nice to be out doing something again. What's also good is that at the moment there is no snow here!! :) I was actually able to wear my Converse again and not my walking shoes.

I think we're due to get snow here over the weekend though :( I'm fed up of it now.
