It's been really nice the past few days here because we haven't had any snow. Today however, it started to snow :(
We went to the Prudential Centre today as we were going to go up to the skywalk. It's almost become our little thing- we get to a city we go up it's tallest building! We got the lift up to the 50th floor only to discover that you couldn't see a thing out of the window because of the weather so we didn't waste our money, instead we came back down and grabbed a coffee and chilled out for a bit. We were both a little disappointed though.
After this we headed back to the hostel for an early dinner as we were going out tonight with a few people from the hostel to Wally's Jazz club. It is the oldest continuous Jazz club in America and has been in the same place for sixty years! I'd never been to one before and I think America is the place for Jazz and Blues so I'm glad I went along. The bar was tiny but really popular so it was packed out. It was a good night; we met some really nice people from the hostel out tonight. Practically everyone from the hostel is going to be in New York for Christmas Day too so we're trying to organise a big meet up on Xmas Day!
After we left the Jazz club we decided to head to another bar and I was so surpried to learn that they were still serving food at 12.40am!! Everywhere shuts at 2am in America apparently so after the lights came on it was time to go. Luckily we weren't too far from the hostel. We got back and had hot chocolates and carried on chatting for a bit but then it was time to hit the pit as we were supposed to be getting up early tomorrow to do the Freedom Trail.
