Well after having spent the day in Edmonton I now have my own opinion of the place and I didn't like it. We walked from the hostel to the Legislative building (we still don't know what it's for!) which is probably the only building worth seeing! That took us around 20-30 minutes to walk to. We then walked to the 'Art gallery of Alberta' which seemed to take forever to find and was a bit of a let down once there- the building looks rather impressive in photos but ...

So much for my lie in this morning- I was wide awake at 8am. We had to check out today as we were catching the Greyhound to Edmonton at 1pm. We were just going to get a taxi from the hostel into town but luckily one of the guys that works at the hostel was driving into town at the same time as us so he offered us a lift, saving us $15.00!
