There are motorbikes in the night that backfire and it sounds like gunshots. Not the most restful.
We have a quiet morning and listen to a sermon.
In the afternoon we go for a walk to a plaza, but when we get there it's a deserted lot. It has good reviews on trip advisor- what went wrong? Turns out the gps is way off. 150km out. No way where walking there. We try the next spot and it does exists! A lookout to the three countries separated by the river. The path continued down by the river and it's really nice. Hot and humid though. We head towards a hummingbird garden. When we get there it's just a backyard someone has been cultivating for hummingbirds. It doesn't seem worth the 40 pesos each. From the street we see some flying about. Man they are quick! On the way back I see someone with a jacket on that says adventist motorcycle. We get back and not much after it starts to rain. We FaceTime family and then go out for dinner. The first place we go to is within a closed street and there are tons of motorbikes. Seems like there us some event on. That explains a bit. It's so loud inside we leave and go to a different place. The food is ok but I don't feel great afterwards. During dinner 2 ppl pull up right outside with the jackets afore mentioned on a miter bike. It says Adventist motorcycle ministry. We make it back without getting rained on.
