Magnetic island was so small with only one road running through it. The bus driver was lovely enough to help us off the bus and we checked into the koala sanctuary which had cute little cabins on stilts. Once we arrived in Airlie after the long journey we headed to the hostel and checked in and made ourselves something for breaky after visiting the local supermarket. We showered and Ed worked his magic and done some hand washing and we saw the two Canadian girls we met on Fraser. We called them over and said about meeting later for a drink and they told us the Danish couple were here too and were leaving tonight so we plan to have drinks to say farewell tonight. ...

A minivan picked us up from Noosa transit station and we headed to Nomads to check in and dump our bags. We were hungry as it was dinner time by this point. After dinner we sat and chilled for a bit before heading to bed as my cold had started to get quite bad! The hostel was quite cool however the kitchen was rubbish, but the internet was free so we caught up with friends back home. We arrived in Brisbane and waited around for our pick up from the transit centre. Once being picked up we arrived at Bunk which was quite a cool hostel and enjoyed a free cocktail. So the coastal journey had began! Our first stop was Byron Bay which is a 12 hour bus journey North of Sydney! We arrived at 11am and the weather was extremely hot and muggy the humidity was very high and mozzies were everywhere, it had rained over night!
