Thank god we managed to catch the bus and headed to Sydney. The journey was not great at all, the guy behind wouldn't let me recline and the air con was on high we hardly slept and could not get comfy. Gigi's mum gave Ed and I some yummy sweets for the journey which made it much more tolerable.

We arrived early at 8am and Dec shortly arrived to pick us up. Dec took us back to his apartment where we felt straight at home. Unloaded our stuff and had some breaky!! Dec and Marnie had an polo event to attend so Ed and I had the day to ourselves. I weighed myself and was horrified so set out for a run whilst Ed showered. I ran down the beach for a look around to get my bearings, It was a nice day finally. When I got back I showered and we sat watching the telly and nodding off before Dec and Marnie arrived home. We sat talking over a glass of wine and decided to order pizza as it had started to rain very heavy. The pizzas were delicious!! We sat and watched a movie together too-This is the end. We then headed for bed so tired we couldn't wait to catch up.

Sunday morning I got up and went for another run, this time Ed joined me. When we got back we all had breakfast together and showered before we headed out to shop. Dec and Marnie went furniture shopping whilst Ed and I had a poke around the shops to grab new undies and some decent clothes. We got what we were after and met Dec and Marnie at Coles where we did the weekly shop.

Being a Sunday we got back unpacked the shopping and sat watching the telly it was lovely and chilled and as the weather was crap it was cosy inside. Dec planned roast beef which excited Ed and I. It was delicious, out of this world was definitely what we had craved for over 2 months now. We sat around talking and then the rest of the evening I spent skyping various different people. Was lovely to hear Grandad H and see Nanny Copeman, John and Georgie of course. He's getting a very big boy!!

Monday we wandered around asking if places had job vacancies, sprucing up our CV's and applying for jobs online. We got ourselves a bus pass so we can travel around easy and went into bondi junction again to grab some bits for Dec for dinner and Ed his new SIM card. It was a horrible rainy day so were happy to be back at the apartment. Dec and Marnie soon arrived home for dinner and we all sat around. It was delicious pork, sweet potato mash and green beans yum. However I proceeded to choke on a large bite I had taken which scared me and the others!! I was a little shaky after and shocked but it didn't take long for us to laugh about it. I then spent the rest of the evening catching up on writing my diary as it hadn't been written for 2 weeks woops!! The others watched a few series shows and we all headed to bed pretty soon after. I was sad I didn't get to run today as the weather was so bad but I shall tomorrow rain or shine!!

Today I went for a lovely run again down the beach and tried out the sand which was a little harder but I enjoyed the challenge. We both showered and headed to the beach area to give out CVs Dec had printed for us, everywhere seems to have hired already which is worrying but I'm sure we'll find something somewhere. We had made a picnic so sat on the beach and tucked in. It was great to watch the surfers and finally have some brilliant sunshine. We walked about most of the afternoon again asking for job opportunities and getting our bearings with the area. We headed back around half 5 and realised when we were out of sunlight how much we had caught the sun. Dec got back and Marnie was working late so the 3 of us tucked into a gorgeous lamb curry Dec had prepared in the slow cooker. It was delicious. Dec set up the iPad so we can now watch ozzy telly so we headed to bed early and caught up.

We got up early and jumped in the car into the CBD with Dec and Marnie and traipsed around all morning to different agencies. We handed in our CVs and hope to get a response ASAP. We then made our way to Central station where we extended our Oz buss pass from 3 months to 6 and got the train back to Bondi junction. We then went food shopping as tonight Dec is out and we are going to make dinner and something for Marnie as she's due back late again. We walked home and spent the rest of the afternoon applying for more jobs online. I received a call and have been invited to an interview with a store at Bondi junction called baby boxes. The lady found my application online as I had to research the store. Ed headed down to beach area to give his CV to different bars!! Once he arrived home we started to get dinner together which was pumpkin, goats cheese, spinach salad with chicken breast and fresh whole wheat rolls yummy. It was hot so we didn't fancy anything big. After dinner we tided up left everything for Marnie and went for an evening stroll which was lovely along the beach. When we got home both Dec and Marnie had arrived back and we more or less headed straight to bed as we were so tired.

It was another fantastic day so we got up and ran together to the beach and along the esplanade it was very hot but we still managed nearly 4km. We showered had breaky and headed for the bus to Bondi Junction where I had my first interview. It was really relaxed and laid back. I have my trial on Saturday where I can say yes or no, they liked me. The company is Baby Boxes, gift hampers to send to new mothers. Afters we walked back to the apartment changed into beach wear and headed down. It was a lovely day and we lay on the beach enjoying the sun!! We later met Dec and Marnie back at the apartment and enjoyed a BBQ on the balcony, yummy!! We tucked into steak and chicken sausages which I had never heard of before. We spent the evening watching the Hunger games film and got to sleep more or less straight after.

Today was another wet day and we couldn't run sadly! However we got the majority of our washing done and applied for a few more jobs as we are updated everyday on new vacancies. We walked down to the beach after uploading the rest of our photo collection on Facebook and caught the bus to the CBD. We shopped and I had the pleasure of Top shop so have stocked up on a few essential items of clothing for work, evenings out and casual. We also set up Ozzy bank accounts and grabbed ingredients for dinner as we offered to cook tonight. We headed to meet D and M after work which was convenient as it was now thunder and lightening and very rainy the bus home wouldn't have been fun. We proceeded to cook dinner which was chicken stuffed with goats cheese and chive with new potatoes, broccoli and asparagus. They claimed it was nice but I wouldn't be so sure haha but it was edible anyways. We then got ready really quick and planned to meet some friends we made in Vietnam out. Uncle Dec kindly dropped us in and we had a brilliant night catching up. A lot of wine was consumed haha. We got back late as were not used to being out so late we conked out cold.
