Last day in Venice:

Today we decided to treat ourselves to another morning if sunbathing. I finally had chance to finish Anne Franks diary which I bought in Amsterdam.

After lunch we showered and headed into Venice for the last time. We decided to pass on the expensive restaurants on the canal and St Marks square, and instead went to Billa (Europes version of Tesco). We bought ourselves a nice picnic, including a bottle of Bellini - which is Venice's infamous drink.

We then walked along the marina into residential Venice and found ourselves a park to eat in.

Really should start to pack my bag now, as having a bed as a wardrobe hasn't turned out well. Bens things are all very neat in a small corner, whereas my clothes have taken over the floor, and bed.

Cannot wait to get rid off the tent! We were meant to be staying in a tent in Rome but after the first night I quickly emailed the site and upgraded to a bungalow.
Good riddance tent!
