Last day in Venice: Today we decided to treat ourselves to another morning if sunbathing. I finally had chance to finish Anne Franks diary which I bought in Amsterdam. After lunch we showered and headed into Venice for the last time. We decided to pass on the expensive restaurants on the canal and St Marks square, and instead went to Billa (Europes version of Tesco). Day three: Today we thought we ought to be active after our day if laziness and so we headed into Venice again. This time we braved the long queue in the midday sun to get into St Marks basilica. I bought a fan which has made things a lot easier. The basilica was nice and everything but I'm honestly getting a tad churched out. There's only so many you can see before they all start to merge into one. We sat with some amazing gelato watching the gondola go by...

Day two on Venice: Today there isn't much to report. We decided to take a day off from exploring and stay by the pool today. It felt like a real holiday! So we sunbathed, read, swam in the pool and just generally had a lazy day. It felt so good! I di now have awful tan lives though and I seem to have burnt my forehead. Hope it doesn't peel. Oh I also forgot to mention that we are being eaten alive by Mosquitos. Damn the tent.

So we arrived in Venezia last night and have spent the entire of our first day here getting completely lost in the maze that is Venice. But let me first tell you about our accomidation here. We are stating in a campsite just in the outskirts of Venice. They have lovely chalets, bungalows and then small dingy tents. Yep we're staying in the one if the small dingy tents.
