We spent the day in Adelaide with Rafe. We planned to go up to the hills - which were really nice, cooler and familiar countryside to the UK - to have a drive around and maybe have a quick drink with Rafe's mate Mike and his girlfriend Kristen. We arrived in Adelaide in mid afternoon where we were due to meet Rafe, Alex's cousin. Having had no response to our call I was keen to kill time at the Adelaide Oval particularly having found out the news that this was to be Adam Gilchrist final test match.
