Just before the start of the Great Ocean Road is a small town called Torquay which is full of surf shops, some factory outlets with discounts!! Some time later (!) we left with 4 pairs of Reef flip-flops and a wet-suit top for Alex - pretty restrained really! We then headed off down the Great Ocean Road with it cliff hugging winding roads and stunning views. We arrived in Melbourne in the early morning so after appetites were satisfied we took a walk around the town and found ourselves down by the river.
