Fri 18/5 - Mon 21/5

Not a lot to report from our weekend in Delhi. Spent most of our time in the hostel researching what we are doing next on our travels. Although we had only booked for 3 nights we ended up spending 5. The hostel was by no means a very good standard. There was work going on next door so it was covered in dust the whole time (pointless cleaning each day) the water kept running out and the food was very basic, bread and butter for breakfast and spicy rice for dinner EVERY day, but the people there were really nice and it was in a quiet location so we came to really like it. Fri night we bought some drink and ordered in dominos pizza and sat on the rooftop with Shu playing cards. It was nice as we were near the airport and we could watch the planes coming in. Sat we lazed about all day, Sun we wandered to the shops which was great as there was hardly any traffic for a change. Mon we checked out of the hostel at 11am and had to kill time until our taxi came at 5pm. Headed up to the shops again to get supplies for our 15hr bus journey. Thank god we got a taxi as it dropped us off right where the bus left from, would never have found it on our own!lol. The bus was 30 min late in leaving, typical India! It had lots of stops for toilet and food which was great as we were a bit worried about the toilet situation on such a long drive!

P.S Kev we found Nerds for sale in one of the shops so just had to buy them!lol.
