Well here we are now in Ko Chang which is an island on the East coast of thailand near Cambodia. We arrived here on Saturday, having decided we needed to get out of Bangkok (again). We are currently waiting for our visas to come through for Laos, vietnam and cambodia so figured rather than stay in Bangkok this little island would be far more fun. Had a little panic the first night we arrived we couldn't find anywhere toi stay and the plces we did were far too expensive for us, but eventually with a little help from a friendly taxi man driving us around we found some tree huts on stilts. We are staying on Lonley beach which i s beautiful and the sun shine is a lovely change to the smog, although at times it has been unbelievably hot. We had some rain the other night which started out fun but got heavier and heavier and went on and on we got scared out huts were going to wash out to sea, but we survived. Last night we went to a "full moon party" on the beach which was fab. There were fire dancer type people which was amazing and we drank lots and danced around to some good old cheesy music. Unfortunaltly we didn't make it until sunset we whimped out early due to exhaustion. We head back to bangkok tomorrow and we will try and get some photos put up so you can witness our adventures.
