hello everyone!!

i am in the 'land of smiles' for 5 more days only : ( im pretty sad about that... for the next few days i am mostly hanging around with the family and some friends here... making small trips and visits to various people and places... i got my senegalese clothes set for tailoring yesterday so I should have them back from the tailor tomorrow... you will all get to see a boubou on a toubab!!

i am glad to be coming home but i also am pretty sad about leaving my family and all of the people that i have come to know and love here in senegal!! i never knew it would be so hard for me to leave, and i thought it would be much harder to adjust for me than it has been... regardless i have been having the time of my life, seeing things i never would have imagined i would see, experiencing things that i could not have concieved of experiencing before coming here...

i might post once more before leaving but just know that i am having a good time, enjoying myself and doing all that i can do enjoy my last few days... i have lots of pictures to show you all and lots of things physically to show for my travels as well... but know ahead of time that if you ask the wuestion 'so how was senegal?' or 'so what was senegal like?' there is no way that i could ever give you a short answer... it would be utterly impossible... so ask if you actually want to know and be prepared to maybe need to take a seat because its not a 3 second answer that will come out, dont ask if you dont really want to know though please, because it wont be hard to tell the difference... and i will share my stories, my fears, my pains, my feelings with anyone who cares to really know...

ill see you all soon, and im sorry that i just will probably not be very patient with people asking how it was and not really wanting an answer, or for that matter wanting an honest answer...

i love you all and miss you all... will see you soon for the most part, otherwise ill see you in august, or maybe a little sooner.
