Day 20! Today, I went to Stratford-upon-Avon, the hometown of William Shakespeare. My theatre class went to see Othello at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. First, the weather was absolutely perfect this day. We all wore dresses and were not cold once. (A first for this trip!) Our initial stop was at a butterfly farm. Day 19! Today, I had class and then jumped on a small bus for a field trip to Sir Issac Newton's childhood home. It was renovated during the 1600s. We walked amongst the buildings and gardens. We also got to go into the actual house. In the gardens, we saw the famous apple tree that inspired Newton. Day 18! Thank goodness for another relatively calm day! Plus, it did not rain!! Shocking... I went to class and then did a few housekeeping things in my dorm to prepare for the weekend. I also had to go in to Grantham to print my train tickets. There Katie and I stopped and had tea and crumpets. Tea might just be growing on me! Day 17! After such a busy weekend, I was thankful for staying in the manor today. I had a presentation this morning and turned in one of my papers. Day 16! I started off the day by going to the Methodist church in Grantham, or at least, I was trying to. At first, the cab driver dropped Taylor and I off at the Catholic church, and I had to run him down in order to get to the right place.
