Ali's Travels
14th May 2005
Today was a fairly lazy day. In the afternoon we to a suburb of Arequipa, Paucarpata. We had some lunch in what I can only describe as the 'Locals' dinner! The people stared at you when you walked in and I had no idea what I ate for lunch but the views were awesome! The garden over looked Inca terracing and El Misti, Chachani & Pichu Pichu.
We then took a rather nerve racking kamikaze taxi ride out to a El Molino de Sabandia, which is a restored mill set in beautiful grounds of Willow Trees.
In the evening we met up with Paul and Alice, who we first met in Huacachina. They met the girl with the broken wrist on their bus ride into Arequipa, apparently it is broken, but she only has to have thje cast for three weeks, which by then she will be in Oz!!! Thank heavens she is ok and she was fine about the accident! Felt alot better! We had good evening! Although I left early due to having a bit of jelly belly!!! I shall go no further!
