My opinions on Greece by Alex Kesby. Olympia - good. Athens - terrible, dirty and rundown (except Plaka). Islands - amazingly fantastic. We went to three Greek Islands today, Hydra, Poros and Aegina. They were in themselves brilliant but Hydra was the highlight for me. It was just how you picture a mediterranean island, blue water with white houses on the island. The sea was great to swim in and perfect because there wasn't any sand on the beach, you just climbed down a ladder and you were in like a pool. We went to Hydra first and we then went to Poros. Poros is a beautiful looking island but no swimming and only shopping so this place was boring to me. Our last island was Aegina, home of probably the worst sand beach in the world. It was more like a dirt beach, but the water was brilliant so that made life better (not that cruising around the med is a bad thing!). That was pretty much our day. Sally has gone out with some of our group to Plaka and I have had room service and am watching the fugitive.
