This morning was rather a late start! Colin only just made breakfast at 10 and I missed it; however being the sweetie that he, is he brought me back a cup of hot water and some mini croissants :-)
The day was absolutely glorious; blue skies and sunshine until 4pm then it clouded over a bit and now we have a little bit of drizzle.
We decided this morning that we would go for a walk to see a waterfall.
The walk was by no means strenuous or long, some 2.5kms but I had to keep asking Colin to stop along the way and when we arrived at the top I curled up and slept for a good half hour. I must still be full of infection as I felt rotten all the way :-( Colin went off exploring and photographing ( taking a very un- complimentary one of me asleep!) behind the waterfall.
This morning before we went out, Colin looked at our route for tomorrow and found that we will be doing two of Norway's most picturesque and famous roads. One of them being the Atlantic Road. This stretch of road is only about 8 kms long but it jumps from Island to Island with award winning bridges. Colin is going to put a link on his page for anyone who is interested to have a look at.
We have been unable to decide whether we are disappointed not to have done it today, on our sunniest day so far. Those are the breaks though!!
