Our journey today has been amazing. The scenery has been spectacular and even though it has been overcast and raining for the whole of the journey so far that has really only added to the dramatic landscape.
We have travelled through kms of tunnels hewed through the centre of mountains, some of them steadily rising for 2.5 kms! the engineering skills of the Norwegians should never be underestimated. We did have a little worry as we came to the end of 1 tunnel and met a lorry coming into the tunnel taking up both lanes!
We are also looking up at snow on the tops of the hills!
