Day 44 my flat were planning on going to the beach but unfortunately it was a bit cloudy so we thought we would leave it for a couple of days and go when it is really hot, obviously I'm not saying it isn't hot now it was 26 degrees today which was nice but a bit cool. Instead we headed to the park and had a bit of a hit about with a ball and bat and had our own version of the Ashes Cricket. After tiring ourselves out we went back to the flat before heading to the local drinking establishment, where Dave, Denise and myself had to take advantage of the great offer on beer they had where they sell jugs of beer (lager) for $8 which is extremely cheap for over here. Tomorrow I hope to have the chance to explore a bit more of what the city has to offer and head to Darling Harbour which is only a 10 minute walk from where I am living, so better get some sleep and put the camera on charge as I'm sure I'll find some things to photograph.
