Today began with a lie in, which was well needed. We missed breakfast at the hotel so we just headed straight out to the Battleship Memorial Park, Mobile. The memorial park has a variety of aircraft, the USS Alabama warship and the USS Drum submarine. You can go and walk around the ship and there are 3 self guided tours you can take and you pretty much can go anywhere on the shop. Today was a day of travelling. We set off this morning from New Orleans towards Mobile, Alabama for our next destination. The journey didn't take all that long, about 3hrs. On route we took a detour to see the beaches of Biloxi. It is definitely something to see. With the White sands and beautiful views it makes for a nice drive along the coast.
