The last few days have been mostly getting used to the camping. Me and mart have our system worked out now.. He's not the best at putting the tent up or cooking wen it's our turn but he makes up for it by being the strongest so he loads the van. First few days I got eaten alive by mozzies. Doing my usual routine now of eating tonnes of garlic and applying 40 layers of spray. One that I brought has so much deet in it melted my hair clip!
After Washington, D.C. We went to North Carolina. Just a camping stop. Drove to South Carolina yesterday and stopped in charleston such a pretty little place! Everyone's talks really southern they like to say y'all and vee-Hic-le alot.
Walked round the town all day ($3 mojitos and $2 beers!) most the town is still preserved how it was during the civil war which is cool.
In the van we have code words. Cactus if everyone's hot and you shout iceberg when it's freezing!
Got a 4 hour drive today and were in Florida!!camping on the beach tonight. Brought supplies to roast some s'mores. Actually can't wait for Miami tomorrow and were in a hotel so we get a real bed!!!
