There is not a great deal to write about today. Having been stuck on a bus for twenty hours we have tried sleep as much a possible.
On the way we did pass an overturned oil tanker spilling the load all over the road and everything surrounding it.
A quick stop for roadworks meant we could get off to stretch our legs and buy some cooked rice. We did manage to watch private copies of grown ups 2 and wolverine albeit in Spanish. Also allowed me to watch Schindlers list and enough time for Abigail to start watching it too.
Arriving in Cusco on being given our bags, which have now changed colour to black with the dust, we got a taxi to a hostel. Supposed to be staying in a six person dorm, we were the only ones in it which was a bonus.
Heading out to explore Cusco, we sorted the inca trail and bought some well needed shampoo. Stopping for food we ended up on a balcony looking over the main plaza which was quite nice. There are some weird religious monuments lit up on the hilltops of a cross and a white statue of Jesus, but with exception to those the city seems really nice. We have explored as much as possible before it became too dark so will hopefully see more tomorrow.
