Having seen the Cathedral we were eager to see more of the city as it looked beautiful. With the buildings all made of volcanic stone made them look classic referring to Italy on more than one occasion.
We must have walked from end to en of the city looking at every hostel to stay in and checking out places to go. Also visiting the travel agencies and booking a visit to Colca canyon for tomorrow.
The city is easy on the eye with even the traditional McDonald's yellow sign banned for a more aesthetically pleasing look.
Enjoying being in the sun and able to tan in our shorts and vests we sat in the square before heading back to the hostel. Seeing the Canadian couple again, they were hiring a car and driving to Colca canyon themselves and asked if we wanted to go with them but unfortunately had already booked our tickets.
Instead we went for a meal as a double date trying the local alcohol, pisco sours, which was strong to say the least. Talking about everything from politics to food, Abigail and myself grabbed a sandwich for our early start tomorrow and a couple of beers to have at the hostel.
Staying up for a beer or two and continuing chats of travelling of places we have to visit and couch surfing horror stories we laughed and drank, the way travelling should be before setting our alarms for 2:45, only a couple of hours sleep for us tonight.
