As I only had 3 days in Dubai, this was the only day I had to explore Dubai city. In the end it took15 hours to see Dubai in a day with help of the Big Bus company and Kiru (Prem;s friend and my host for my tme in Dubai) who took the day off work to accompany me. To be fair even after he has been in Dubai for 10 years ths was his first sight seeing trip with a company. Up and down on the big bus we went, we also did a river cruise down to the delta of the gulf with Bur and Deira Dubai on both sides and then Dubai museum with ford. We had delightful Indian at a local restaurant (75% of expats in Dubai are Indian). After luch we were just in time for the walking tour of the material, spice and gold souks. We took the blue route after we got back to Wafi mall, which took as passed Jermaih beaches, waterpark, Barj al Arab and Atlantis hotel in palm beach. Dubai is much bigger than I expected, the themed malls also blew me away; Wafi with the Egyptian inscryption and massive statues, Lycia with London tower bridge inside, Emirates mall with ski Dubai running from the top of the roof, Mall of Dubai with a huge aquarium and the starting point of the "At the Top" Barj Kalifa experience...talest building in the world 840m with viewing area at 440m. Our viewing slot was 22:30 and what better way was this not to end an amazig day with such a lit up world aroud us. We even made the last train home all be it by midnight.
