I don't know how the contents of my bag keeps increasing after a few days when everything needs to go back in! Well thankfully I got everything to fit again and the taxi picked us up for the Aeroparque Airport. We were rather relieved that we finally found the gate as apparently it was on the board but then dropped off leaving us with no flight to reference the gate number.
After a 3 hour comforatable flight we arrived in El Calafate and within 30 min were on a bus to El Chalton another 3 an half hours drive. We stopped off at a ranch hotel for a bite to eat. After our snack the journey became increasingly spectacular. The mountain ranges bigger, the snow whiter and glacier more visible. The streams had a blue sulphur tinge to it which reminded me of the blue lagoon in Iceland. We arrived in El Chalton and checked into Anna's place a top floor chalet with just the perfect view of the surrounding mountains. As we are in the valley everything seems even more majestic.
