After a tedious 4 hour drive from merimbula to lakes entrance we decided to stop and look around the area. We had no idea about what Lakes entrance was, or indeed what was there. It was a surprisingly quite little town which had very nice views, but not really the happening town we had hoped for. Apart from a flock of pelicans, it was pretty quiet. We were unsure whether or not to stay in Lakes entrance over night or to crack on to the next place. After much deliberation and suspense we decided that we needed a game of mini golf, to allow us time to think. The game was a disaster for myself (which is hardly surprising- I always lose!) It became clear quickly that the lead was between Charlie (or chuckles as we have called her on this trip) and Lee. They fought hard and lee cheated well, but it was no match for the victorious chuckles and she beat him by 1 point!Her moment of Glory. After tense discussion and chip shop lunch…we decided to head on to Philip Island which was another four hours away. So off we went!
