Today we slept in, surprise surprise, and we woke up to eggs and biscuits courtesy of Andrew. Gathering laundry, Andrew and I walked over to the local laundry and dropped it off after trying to pay the owner 3 X what he was asking for. Oops! Thank goodness for good people. We arrived in Puerto Montt late last night and drove to Puerto Varas where we found our house for the next few days. Made it to bed around 2 am and slept in late this morning. Woke to rain and grey skies. Puerto Varas reminds me of the Pacific Northwest - the town is nestled in trees on a hillside sloping into a lake at the foot of a classic cone volcano. Yesterday was great! We woke up at 9:30 and we were out of our house by 11:00! Then we took the subway downtown to Bella vista, where we got cheese empanadas for lunch. They were amazing! Then we feed some wild doggos (dogs) our lunch! Then we went to a park and played around. Afterwards, we tried to "break in" according to mom, to a museum.
