Travels
Final stop for the day was Talbot House in Poperinge. This was a all ranks hospice set up by Chaplan Philip "Tubby" Clayton and provided an escape for all soldiers for most of the war. Somewhere else to go rather than bars and the red light districts. Again a very simple but effective museum and it was very humbling to have tea in the same place and manner has hundreds of thousands of allied soldiers bit all those years ago. The house itself is still used by travellers.
