Pretty sore and sorry this morning after a the previous days punishment but still had alot more KM's left in my skinny sticks.
This day was by far one of my favourite! The morning was filled with so absolutely jaw dropping views and scenery! Stopped at a few ruins site and made a real good pace to lunch. I was getting used to running alot of it; I felt more comfortable on the trot sometimes and got more of a rush from the surroundings when hot footing it a little more.
Lunch was at spectacular site where we actually situated behind macchu picchu mountain. We were completly taken by surprise when rosa told us that the chefs had a surprise for us this day for lunch. They baked us a cake! Completly decorated, iced and enscripted with our team name !

It was delicious. Another good afternoon trek to our macchu picchu base camp!
Sore some amazing ruins and explored off the track with the lads a little. It was here me Jamie and aksel had our duel with our walking sticks. So fun!
Tomrrow was the day we'd been waiting for ! Got the run down after dinner. Wake up was about 3.15am we needed to be close to first in line for entry to the park and to be able to head the rat race to the sun gate for sunrise.
Couldn't wait!!!
