Day 1 of my worldwide tour... (I'm back dating here a little but still got quite a vivid memory) woke with some very mixed emotions clouding my departure. Last day at 18 old bush rd for a long time. Say goodbye to Jared and Roe, mum and dad but easily the hardest was Kate. After the cliched leaving scene at Sydney airport I was pretty distraught before boarding flight QF11 to LA.. As the wheels left the Tarmac I knew this was going to be the start of something special, still a little shaken from the goodbyes I made a pact to myself to make the most of every day and attack it with a smile on my face!
Sat next to a nice bloke from Canada Jeremy , who we ended up exchanging details with .... He actually made the 14hours pass pretty smoothly :)
