We were up at the crack of dawn this morning to catch our train from Grays into London so we could make our 7:30am Euro star trip to Paris. The trip on the Euro Star takes about 3 hours, so with the time difference, we were in Paris at 11:30. We arrived at Gare Du Nord and caught a Metro (underground train) to a stop near our hostel (St Christophers). The metro is hot and stinky and looks confusing on a map but is not really that bad once you get the swing of it...
