SOME HOUSEWORK & SOME HEIGHTY PHOTOGRAPHY
7am, not as early as previous days but still pretty early. Although again i was knackered and opted for a 9pm bed time being the crazy 18 year old I am, woo party!
A quick check of the facebook and this here blog, thanks for the comments everyone, keep up the reading and comments :) Then my designated jobs for the day, polish the glass furniture tables & a blitz round with the hoovernator.
A Revitalising shower, a set of rag's and go go gondola's. The drive was pretty hairy as it saw me driving through the town of Christchurch, following a sat-nav isn't so easy when theres five other drivers round you who know exactly where there going. Once I got into central town I searched for nearby tourist attractions, the one i wanted was Christchurch Gondola's. After a little while the navman found where i wanted to go and instructed me back through the town and 10km hillbound.
The Gondola ride set me back $25 dollars, pretty heavy to be honest, although the price did include a crappy time-tunnel travel informative historic white-knuckle ride. When I say white Knuckle I actually lie, I've moved faster On my sofa! The tour was pretty interactive and it was free so cant complain too much. Upon my exit of that crazy-sofa ride there was a sign offering additional rides for $4, which i thought was funny and wondered why and earth you'd want to go again. Pretty Hard-going Adrenaline Charged Extreme For you average granny! Ofcourse SuperGran this doesn't apply to you and you know who you are!
Once I reached the peak I got some awesome shots and I would welcome your comments and feedback on them. The images were mostly shot at 1/500 second shutter speed with the iris open at F-stop 9.0. I have slighty treated the colour of the images too give them that generous booste of saturation, although the images were top quality in their raw shot quality.
After shooting my sixty so images I sat my ass down and refreshed my weiry head with some English Tea. I rifled through the image's and picked fourty of the best images. In the cafe I got talking to a local and yabbled about my trip and Learned some History stuff from him, coooooool NAAAAAAT. he was nice enough and he soon got on his way. A quick descent back down the Gondola, strapped, In drive and Go Go Back towards Christchurch.
Also made some Delicious pasta when i got back which nurtured mine and My Dad's Belly's to perfect harmony. Well Im glad I've had a productive day and taken some brilliant pictures. Please let me know what you think and most importantly of all stay involved!
As Always, Stay Tuned!

John The photos of the activities and pools at Hanmer have come out the best (the ones taken on your camera anyway - I guess the bungee ones are the organisers). I think the compression when uploading is too high. Many pictures look as though they have been taken through muslin and if you look at the lettering, it is broken up - close ups in strong light are coming through best. Also, are you trying any of the landscapes in 16:9 ratio?
John Again So that was feedback on photos. As for what you are doing - absolutely fantastic, really proud that you are making so much of such a great opportunity, long may it continue - when do you need to start working? :)
