A day wandering DC. It was great to have a sleep in as the museums don't open until 10. First stop, The Whitehouse. All quiet there except for 20-odd gardeners and security at the gates. Wow, I can't believe I'm finally on tour!!! Only been planning this since last August! The English girl I shared the room with had just finished doing the same tour in reverse & said it was amazing.
