Last day in USA :-( I had to be packed and checked out by 11am so I had a sleep in till 9am. Funny that I'm on holidays and consider 9am to be a sleep in! I had breaky downstairs with Becky, then back upstairs to pack *groan*. I had to unpack to scratch and start again which took me an hour and a half...grrr! DISNEY DAY!!! I caught a shuttle bus from my hostel...handy huh! The trip took about an hour and I got to ride shotgun. We arrived around 10.30am. I had a hopper pass to both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park, which are right next to each other. I started with Disney and then over to the other one around 4pm. I covered both parks totally, it's easy if you don't go on any rides or look in any shops! Some of the ride queues were over an hour long......

I was up and ready to go by 9.30am but the other 2 were sleepy heads and by the time they got themselves organised it was nearly 11am by the time we got out of the hotel :-( We caught 2 buses to Santa Monica - quite a hike - it took over an hour I think.  We wandered down Santa Monica pier and looked at the shops.  There's a little park there and we rode what has to be the lamest roller coaster ever!!  It wasn't scary at all and didn't even go terribly fast. ...

Universal Studios Day!!! Lissy and I went together without our mate Becky as her funds are running low :-( We had so much fun!!! We rode every ride, some twice!! The Simpsons ride was my favourite even though I don't watch the show. You sit in a little carriage but you don't actually go anywhere. It's simulated - while you watch the screens the carriage moves in time and you get splashed in some places - you really feel like you're in the movie!! Awesome!! My ...

LAST DAY OF TOUR!!!! Forgot to set my alarm but woke up to the others shuffling around about 8am. We completed evaluation forms about the trip over breaky and met JD at the van at 9am. We drove for a couple of hours and landed in Beverley Hills around 1.30pm. We wandered the main drag a bit and stopped for lunch at Maccas again *groan*. JD then took us to a lookout with a view of the Hollywood sign, but it was quite far away. See if you can find it in my pic!!!...
