I was up and ready to go by 9.30am but the other 2 were sleepy heads and by the time they got themselves organised it was nearly 11am by the time we got out of the hotel :-(

We caught 2 buses to Santa Monica - quite a hike - it took over an hour I think.  We wandered down Santa Monica pier and looked at the shops.  There's a little park there and we rode what has to be the lamest roller coaster ever!!  It wasn't scary at all and didn't even go terribly fast. We also had a go on the ferris wheel which was nice.

We grabbed lunch at a takeaway place, corndog and fries, then wandered the main drag, Santa Monica Boulevard and looked at more shops.  We caught the bus back to Hollywood around 5ish and got caught in lots of traffic... it took an hour and a half. We wandered a little and looked at some of the Stars, and also the celebrity handprints.

Around 9pm we were starving by the time we arrived at Johnny Rockets. We had been planning to go there since yesterday as our final meal together coz Lissy's leaving tomorrow :-(  I had a delicious burger (not quite a Winston burger from home... but still pretty darn good!) and I tried the sweet potato french fries.  Dang they were amazing!!! Yum!

We then headed home to our hostel around 10.30ish. Becky doesn't have any money left to do anything much, so I've decided to do Disney by myself tomorrow! I just bought my ticket, and I can get a shuttle direct from this hostel. So exciting!

Better get some sleep...
