We were breakfasting at 7.30am ready for an 8.15am departure.

A pretty non eventful downhill slide for the last day of the tour. We just drove from Kelowna back to Vancouver. Charles dropped us off around 2pm and the tour was officially over :-(

Still, most of us are hanging around in Vancouver for a day or two, so we all went our separate ways to our accommodations and agreed to meet downtown at 6 to go for dinner.

I caught a taxi to my bnb which was only about a 15 min drive. My host carried my bags inside and downstairs for me, so nice! Then we chatted awhile and he explained the area and buses to down town etc.

I freshened up and walked down to the main road and caught the 5pm bus which got me to town at 5.45pm.

10 of us had dinner which was nice, then a drink at a nearby pub. I packed it in around 10.30pm as most of who was left are hanging out again tomorrow anyway so I will see them again.

Can't believe my 20 days of touring are officially over!

I'm meeting what's left of the gang tomorrow at 10am - about 7 of us (from 13) I think. It's kind of cool how even though the official tour is over, we still choose to hang out!
