So Stacy's flight to London is cancelled again. She's wandering around Barcelona for the day until she hears back from the airline about getting booked on flight this evening.
Today I went to the Royal Pavilion. This was cool and rather unusual. The exterior is Indian looking while the inside is Chinese. The Prince Regent was a very lavish man and showed that off in this place. What I found most intriguing was the Dragon Chandelier in the dining room. Literally there was a dragon along the chain down to the actual chandelier, whose lamps were flowers coming out of the mouths of more dragons. In the music room was an actor dressed as George IV, the Prince Regent. He was there for some children's tours that were going around. It was very amusing.
After the Pavilion I walked around a variety of shopping streets and the Lanes. I got a fabulous cookie from Ben's - I am going to miss those cookies.
Stacy got on a plane, actually on the place, that was supposed to leave @ 6:20 but then they told them they were going to sit there for 3 hours before they take off. The problem is the flight was sort of made up because of a diverted flight, so I can't really track it online. If it does leave when they say it will then she should land in London around 11:30, then have to wait around until 3am for a bus, getting her to Brighton between 5 and 6.
