Took the train down to Fremantle this morning, nice town shame about the weather. Pouring with rain and only about 19/20C. Had a look round, some of it was shut up for winter, so didn't hang around too long. Took the train back to Perth & decided to find Kings Park asthe weather was cheering up a bit. Finally found the park & it was well worth the visit. Great views overlooking Perth & Swan River. We couldnt understand why we couldnt find the gardens, until we realised we were already walking through it. The whole park was full of parrots & plants we've never seen before. Loads to photos to upload soon. We've also booked our flights to Ayers Rock, we leave on friday & I cant wait.
