Left Ballarat this morning, & spent the whole day driving back to Canberra, again staying with Seona. Off to Sydney tomorrow.

Went out for breakfast with Seona, had very nice pancakes. Then wandered round the war memorial. We hired bikes for the afternoon & did the 22km circuit of Canberra lake, stopping off to visit Floriade en route.

Left Shoal Bay this morning & drove down to Canberra to stay with my cousin Seona. Had a drive round the city & went to Parliament house, very clever considering they chopped the top off the hill built parliament house then put the top of the hill back on top. So all you really see is the most enormous flag pole on the top. First place i've seen with lots of grass, its exempt from the water ban!! They reckon it's too expensive to not water & have to rep...
