Today we went looking for gold at Sovereign Hill. A "town" that is stuck in the goldrush era. Unfortunately the weather had other ideas, as it then started to rain, hail & thunder on us. Not great when the paths are mud, made worse by the horses going up & down. Then headed to the Gold Museum, so see history of gold in the area, saw lots of huge nuggets.

Left Melbourne this morning & headed west for the Great Ocean Road. Saw the 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, The Blowhole, The Arch & London Bridge, have taken tonnes of photos. Also managed to see a koala crossing the road, thankfully I was driving slow enough not to hit it. ;0) Spending the next couple of days in Ballarat, home of the goldfields.

Went on the Neighnours tour today. Firstly we stopped off at Erinsborough High School, then to the studios where we peeked through the fence at stuff & whilst in the car park met up with Karl Kennedy, had my photo taken with him. Then onto Ramsey St, which is tiny, only 6 houses! Had my photo taken outside everyone. Then on the way back into the city we watched old episodes on the minibus' dvd player.

Spent today wandering round. Took the trams & even stumbled across Peter Brock's funeral.

Spent all day in the van & finally reached Melbourne this evening.
