This morning we went for a train ride to Joondalup. This afternoon we went to Perth Zoo & saw koalas, kangaroos, a wombat, the biggest crocodile ever, orangutans, elephants & loads more.

Took the train down to Fremantle this morning, nice town shame about the weather. Pouring with rain and only about 19/20C. Had a look round, some of it was shut up for winter, so didn't hang around too long. Took the train back to Perth & decided to find Kings Park asthe weather was cheering up a bit. Finally found the park & it was well worth the visit. Great views overlooking Perth & Swan River. We couldnt understand why we couldnt find the gardens, ...

We arrived in Oz this morning, into Perth International. Spent today catching up on sleep & wandering round Perth. Weather is a total shock compared to Hong Kong. It's more like weather at home. Hostel is ok, sharing with a Chinese girl & the other bed in the room is currently empty so its not too much of a squash, yet.
