Today we joineda trip to the Islands. Beautiful sunny day, at last. Firstly we went to Tongue Bay on Whitsunday Island & walked up to the lookout overlooking Whitehaven beach. Then back in the boat & round to Whitehaven, had a swim & lunch on the best beach ever. Nicest sand in the world. Then back in the boat for a bit, we ended up in a small sheltered bay, with great coral & fish in it. Saw loads of fish including the gigantic Maori Wrasse. Had fish ...

Still wet & miserable...not going sailing today. Our campsite owner reckons it'll clear up for tomorrow, I hope so.

This morning we left a very wet Magnetic Island for a very wet Airlie Beach. It has been grey & damp with downpours all day. Had a look round Airlie, there's a nice lagoon on the waterfront but the rest of the town (road) is just pubs & eating places. Not much to occupy you here, hopefully the weather clears up tomorrow & we can go sailing round the Whitsundays.

Really hot & sunny Had a drive round the island this morning, didn't take long! Then spent a relaxing couple of hours on the beach sunning ourselves. Heading down to Airlie Beach in the morning.

Took the ferry across this morning to Magnetic Island. Checked into a campsite with the zebra. Had a wandered round the northern part of the island. Even managed to see a koala asleep in a tree!!
