Took the bus to Bondi today. Great surf, lots of sun & blue sky but it was blowing a gale, so it felt quite cold. Had a wander in the shops & along the beach. On the bus on the way home, we look out the window & see the young violinist from last night! spooky. This evening we went to the Observatory & got an up close look at Jupiter & 4 of its moons, & our moon & Alpha Centauri it looks like one star with the naked eye but is actually 2 stars when you look at it through a telescope! Had dinner with our Japanese room-mate, Yoko, very sweet but not great at english. She had made us a very nice salad & gave us some eggs for an omlette. Everyday she goes shopping & in the evening to the OPera House. We have also discovered that her friend plays either the cello or double bass in the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra!!
