So we said goodbye to Rarotonga, awwww. It was time to leave, so we weren't too sad. We traveled with Ollie and Simon (two friends from Vara's) to Aukland, crossing the date line, weird!

We hopped on a bus to the centre and arrived at Base Aukland Central Backpackers. Seriously this place has everything! We were in a dorm with 4 others, two were cool, Steve and Gemma. After we did some laundry coz our clothes STANK, we booked ourselves on a Stray tour to the north tip of the Island.

We set off the next day on the little orange bus which was cool. That was ysterday. We went to Goat Island, but it rained so we didn't see much. Then we went to Whangerai, we were going to stop and see the Lion Man from TV but turn out he got banged up last year for beating his wife! That put a slight downer on things so we decided against it and carried on. We went to a bird hospital place and patted a real life kiwi bird. Its loads bigger than i thought and it only had one leg so it hopped around porr thing!

Then we arrived at Paihai, bay of islands another BASE hostel, which is nice to. We booked on a sky dive for this morning. Unfortunately Dave couldn't dive but i was lucky enough to. It was AMAZING!!!! horrid for the first five secs then just amazing. The view of the Bay was lush to. Now we've come back to the hostel and we're chilling. Off north tomorrow for sand duning whatever that is!
