Hello, long time no speak! Weve been busy getting ourselves jobs and scrubbing the hostel! We are finally getting ourselves back on the money earning track. After much pavement stomping and much worrying that we were going to end up picking strawberries, we have both found ourselves jobs, aaron as kitchen hand in a new restaurant nearby and I got a job as bar staff in a posh restaurant called Bistro C. I had a trial last night, they must have 50 different wines to remember, all went well except for nearly firing a champagne cork into thousands of glasses...phew. Not sure how I passsed the trial, probably just smiled alot, and pretended to know how to pour wine the posh way!! Weve got ourselves a place to live with 3 girls in the National Park (aarons happy!), 5 mins walk from the points. Moving in today..just worried about the spiders, Julia who lives there said they have found 5 Huntsman spiders (nasty bite, but not deadly..but the size of your hand!!) in the house in the last 2 months. Im going to be checking under the toilet seat on a regular basis!! Weve had some reasonably good waves. Weve both got ourselves new surfboards. Aarons bought a green Mini Mal, and ive got a second hand Hobie Pro. they are beauties and go well cruising on the points. over and out.
