In Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) although we are leaving tomorrow running out of Visa time. Our time in HCMC began with a woman hasseling us and following us as we tried to work out where we were and where we wanted to go. Did manage to shake her off and find a nice cheap room. Went out for drinks managed to avoid going in the guns and roses bar.
Today we kept turning up at places that were closed or were not what we expected. We still however managed to make it to the Runification Palace and the War Remnants Museum. The Museum was very good strange to see a museum that shows the USA as comitting grose war crimes. A bit grim the pictures were very graphic. However the crayon pictures by kids softened the tone. We also almost made it to the Ho Chi Minh Museum but actually ended up at the museum of Ho Chi Minh City not very exciting but only cost a dollar.
We are off to the Mekong Delta and then to Phnom Penh Cambodia no more Vietnam. We have both really enjoyed Vietnam even considered a Visa extension but you cannot see everything. The people have been on the whole very friendly once you learn to ignore all the people trying to sell you stuff in the tourist areas. Next Blog from Cambodia. Keeley has been slightly perterbed by the middleage men with teenage vietmanese lots in HCMC.
Apologise for picture but camera still playing up hopefully sort it in Phnom Penh even have some videos.
